Responsibilities & Context:

Position Title: Deputy Manager (Academic)

Department: Academic Operations / Learning & Development
Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh
Reports To: Head of Academics

 

 Position Summary

The Deputy Manager (Academic) will play a key role in designing, managing, and delivering academic programs that reflect Mojaru’s vision of tech-driven, skill-based education. This individual will lead the academic team, ensure high-quality content delivery, manage course development, and coordinate with technology and marketing teams to deliver impactful learning experiences for students.

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Academic Program Development

    • Design, plan, and implement academic courses (online & hybrid) aligned with Mojaru’s curriculum standards.

    • Oversee course module development, content review, and digital learning materials.

    • Ensure quality assurance and continuous improvement of all academic programs.

  2. Faculty & Team Management

    • Supervise and mentor instructors, trainers, and content developers.

    • Conduct faculty training and evaluation sessions.

    • Allocate teaching assignments and monitor performance.

  3. Operations & Coordination

    • Coordinate with the technology team for LMS updates, video lessons, and app integration.

    • Manage class schedules, student engagement, and academic events.

    • Ensure smooth operations of cadet college preparatory programs and other courses.

  4. Innovation & Research

    • Stay updated with EdTech trends, AI-based learning, and modern pedagogical tools.

    • Propose innovative teaching-learning methods to align with the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

  5. Reporting & Administration

    • Maintain academic records, analyze student progress, and prepare performance reports.

    • Support strategic planning and budget management for academic operations.
