Educational Requirements:
∎ Chartered Accountant or equivalent with MBA/M.Com in Accounting or Finance from a reputed educational institutions.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 10 to 12 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead and manage the associates to ensure regular accounting works.
∎ Maintain banking relationship and prepare periodic financial reports.
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly, half yearly, yearly & statutory accounts.
∎ Oversee and coordinate the Accounts, Internal Audit and prepare Accounts Reports considering Tax & VAT.
∎ Prepare budget and budgetary controls.
∎ Perform such other duties as may be prescribed or assigned by the university authorities.
∎ May have to perform additional responsibilities of the university.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 10 to 12 year(s) experience managing finance and accounts of a private/public university or other institution.
∎ Good Knowledge of financial planning, budget and control as well as working Knowledge of IAS, IFRS, VAT and Taxation, rules and regulations relevant to financial management of private universities.
∎ Strong analytical and financial skills, practical knowledge of government rules related to Taxation, VAT and Banking.
∎ Good written and oral communication skills in Bangla & English and conversant with the audit & cost management.
Salary:
∎ As per the university pay scale
