The museum established by ESDO is located at Akcha village near by Thakurgoan.We are looking to hire an experienced Museum Curator to help us keep growing. Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and organize new collections to expand and improve educational and research facilities
∎ Conduct extensive research, identify and prepare the list for items and continuous communication with collectors for collection the materials.
∎ Maintain records and cataloging acquisitions
∎ Collaborate with other institutions
∎ Research, compile and prepare written information about catalogs and publish it on the institution's website/printed documents
∎ Ensure collections are properly preserved
∎ Update websites to explain new attractions
∎ Ensure safety and security of the museum.
∎ Strong communication and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
∎ Organize different festival in museum campus.
∎ Raise funds and obtain grants to expand collection, update facilities, or support research efforts
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
∎ A good command in English Language is essential.
∎ Enthusiastic and sympathetic attitude towards concern stakeholders and visitors.
∎ Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
∎ Computer skills: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook etc.
∎ Experience with museum databases and other applications
∎ More education, experience, or a specialty in specific fields may be beneficial
∎ understanding of collection and fundraising
∎ Strong eye for detail and strong design instincts
∎ Solid negotiation, resource management, and people skills
∎ Exceptional research and verbal and written communication skills
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
∎ Able to organize, present and communicate messages effectively through design
∎ Superb project management and organizational skill
