Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters Degree in any discipline preferably in Social Science
Job Context:
∎ Report to: Project Manager
∎ South Asia Partnership-Bangladesh (SAP-Bangladesh) invites application for the position of CSO-Officer (Civil Society Organization) from the potential Bangladeshi nationals for implementing "Girls Get Equal: An integrated approach to end Child, Early and Forced Marriage" for 5 years with possibility of further extension.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct survey and selection potential clubs, youths and beneficiaries.
∎ Supervise and follow up CSOs/groups as per target
∎ Ensure proper record keeping of CSOs, different committees.
∎ Organize and support different workshops, dialogue sessions, TfDs
∎ Motivate CSOs members to attend different workshops, training and TfDs / cultural Program
∎ Assists to Promote safe space for youth and youth led programme for girl's rights
∎ Strengthening capacity of the CSOs, adolescent and young people
∎ Ensure & timely supply of materials for Day celebration and Sports & Cultural competition in school, in community space
∎ Ensure support on awareness on Child rights, girl's rights, stop child marriage
∎ Ensure follow up of training provided to the adolescents/youths
∎ Conduct orientation for CSO/group members as required
∎ Attend training/meeting/ refreshers course monthly/fortnightly as decided by the relevant authority.
∎ Keep daily records of the field activities to prepare and submit monthly activities report/quarterly report in time and other information as require
∎ Maintain inventory of all materials/resources/equipment at Upazila /project unit level.
∎ Maintain networking & liaison with Union and Upazila level GOB officials, local Govt. and others
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ At least 3 years' experience on working with civil society organizations.
Salary:
∎ Gross Taka 29,538 per month (and yearly salary increment, two festival bonus per year etc. as per policy of the organization)
