Job Context:
∎ Job Location: Rohingya camps, Ukhia
∎ Partners in Health and Development (PHD) is a Bangladeshi development organization has been working in the public health sector for last 30 years and currently implementing different projects in 24 districts.
∎ PHD has been providing health services to Rohingya Refugees organising Health Centers with support from UNICEF. PHD is looking for 6 (six) Councilor to provide humanitarian services, Counseling pregnant women, lactating mother & family members for ensuring safe delivery and nutrition in refugee camps. All the incumbents recruited under this call for application will be stationed in Health Posts Primary established in Refugee camps, Ukhia, Cox`s-Bazar.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain confidentiality of clients' service information
∎ Well facilitation and relation build up skill to motivate clients to come across their feelings and happenings of lives
∎ Prepare and maintain required treatment records and report
∎ Counselling clients and patients (individually and in group) to assist overcoming dependencies, adjusting to life and making changes
∎ Collect clients' information through interview, observation and test
∎ Well advocacy skill to coordinate required service or to resolve emergency problem in crisis situation
∎ Collaborate with other staffs to perform clinical assessments and development treatment plan
∎ Evaluation of clients' physical and mental condition reviewing clients' information
∎ Refer patients/clients to community resources or specialists as necessary
∎ Counseling family members to understand, deal with and support clients/patients
∎ Evaluate effectiveness of counseling program and clients' progress to resolve identified problem and move towards defined objectives
∎ Having the interest on learning by reading professional literature, attending courses and seminars, maintaining communication with other social service providing professionals and agencies
