Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or related major; minimum two year of work experience within a hotel environment in a similar role.
∎ Good English communication skills and computer literacy is a must, while knowledge of Opera, Micros, Material inventory management system and SUN System is an asset.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Inventory Controls & Management:
∎ Spot check/ inventory in outlets/ main stores.
∎ Posting of kitchen/ outlet transfers.
∎ Inventory turnover reports.
∎ Inventory Variation reports.
∎ Review of slow moving/ near expiry reports.
∎ Operating equipment Purchase/ budget reconciliation/ breakage analysis.
∎ F.F & E Purchase/Budget reconciliation.
∎ Analyzes financial data and market trends.
∎ Assists in analyzing information, forecasts sales against expenses and creates annual budget plans.
∎ Implements a system of appropriate controls to manage business risks.
∎ Cost Management & Reporting:
∎ Food & Beverage & Merchandise costing etc.
∎ Summary of Purchase discounts / F.O.C.'s / Marketing Sponsorships.
∎ Potential vs. Actual Cost Variations.
∎ Outlet wise P&L reports.
∎ F & B Discount Analysis.
∎ Article/Item creation in Micros / Materials Management system.
∎ Ratio Analysis.
∎ Butcher Yield Tests
∎ Blind Tests
∎ Market Survey
∎ Menu Costing/ Buffet Costing
∎ Leading Accounting Teams:
∎ Utilizes interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others; advocates sound financial/business decision making; demonstrates honesty/integrity; leads by example.
∎ Communicates the goals and the owner priorities to subordinates in a clear and precise manner.
∎ Provides excellent leadership by assigning team members and other departments managers' clear accountability backed by appropriate authority.
∎ Holds staff accountable for successful performance.
∎ Developing and Maintaining Finance and Accounting Goals:
∎ Supports property strategy from a finance and accounting perspective.
∎ Submits reports in a timely manner, ensuring delivery deadlines.
∎ Ensures Profits and Losses are documented accurately.
∎ Achieves and exceeds goals including performance goals, budget goals, team goals, etc.
∎ Ensures appropriate corrections are made to audit results if necessary.
∎ Reviews audit issues to ensure accuracy.
