Position Overview:
The Consultant – Young Learners of English will be responsible for providing consulting services for designing and developing English Language Programs for young learners (typically ages 5–12). The role focuses on program and curriculum development, teacher mentoring, academic quality assurance, and alignment with international young learner standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Program Development:
Assist in planning and designing Young Learners of English (YLE) program.
Provide support for developing budget for Young Learners of English (YLE) program.
Ensure quality program is developed as per market standard.
2. Academic Curriculum Development:
Provide guidance for designing age-appropriate English curricula for young learners (phonics, vocabulary, speaking, reading, writing, and listening).
Ensure lesson plans and teaching materials follow international ESL/YL standards (e.g., Cambridge YLE, British Council YLE, CEFR-aligned frameworks).
Recommend modern teaching methodologies, classroom activities, and assessment techniques suitable for young learners.
3. Hiring Support:
Assist in hiring teachers for Young Learners of English
Conduct demo classes, workshops, and orientation sessions for teachers when required.
Provide ongoing academic guidance and feedback to ensure teaching quality.
4. Content & Resource Development:
Assist in developing worksheets, learning activities, games, flashcards, and digital learning content.
Review and suggest improvements to textbooks, learning apps, and supplementary materials.
5. Parent & Management Coordination:
Provide academic insights or recommendations to management when required.
Support parent orientation sessions by explaining course structures, learning goals, and student progress.
Address academic concerns related to young learners in coordination with the academic team.
6. Program Improvement & Innovation:
Suggest new courses or program upgrades for young learners based on market demand and academic trends.
Stay updated with global best practices in teaching English to young learners and recommend improvements accordingly.
