Education:
Having/obtained FCPS/MD (Pediatrics) or any Equivalent degree recognized by BMDC will be preferred

Having Diploma in Child Health (DCH) degree with 8-10 years experiences in Pediatrics, Child Health and different related subspecialties both in routine and emergency set up
Or
Obtained Membership from Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (MCPS) in Pediatrics with 10-15 years postgraduate working experience in different fields of Child Health in general and emergency set up in addition to one year of internship.
Or
Completed MD (Pediatrics) 2nd part and now in 3rd part (Thesis) having 5-10 years working experiences in Pediatrics or Child Health and different related subspecialties both in routine and emergency set up
Having worked in multicultural environments which required good clinical judgement

Project Name: 'MNCH and Nutrition Service Delivery for Bangladeshi Host Community’
Reportable to: UH&FPO - Upazila Health Complex
Monitoring & Technical Assistants: PHD in collaboration with UNICEF will deploy a group of staff for round-the-clock monitoring and technical support. This may include spot check, review of performance reports and assessing technical competency.
Accountable to: As an appointing authority, consultant will be accountable to PHD for legal and disciplinary procedures for which PHD will review your performances periodically. Team Leader of this project and senior officials will represent PHD.
Work station: Upazila Health Complex (UHC) of Kutubdia/ Hatiya and Swandip

Job Objective:
To lead operational activities of ‘'MNCH and Nutrition Service Delivery for Bangladeshi Host Community’ supported by UNICEF is to manage investments primarily at 3 hard-to-reach Upazila level of care towards the strengthening of Health and Nutrition services. As a part of human resource support, PHD and UNICEF proposes health responses for maintaining a facility-based Primary Health Care (PHC) inclusive of Maternal, Neonatal, Child and Adolescent Health Services (MNCAH), while ensuring the quality of care.
Key Responsibilities:
Under the technical supervision of UNICEF’s Health Section at Cox’s Bazar, and in collaboration with the authority of assigned UHCs, CS-Office and relevant government institutions, each Consultant, by staying in duty area, will undertake the following tasks, not limited to:
