Experience:

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)
• Fellowship of the College of Physicians and Surgeons (FCPS)
• Master of Surgery (MS)

• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hospital, Physiotherapy center, Diagnostic Centre, Chamber

• Review patients’ medical history, symptoms, and perform physical exams.

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as blood work, imaging (X-rays, CT scans, ultrasounds, etc.) to determine the nature of the problem and whether surgery is needed.

• Advise patients (and sometimes their families) about possible treatment options — surgical or non-surgical — along with risks, benefits, and expected outcomes.

• Carry out a wide range of surgical operations These may involve the digestive system (like appendectomies, gallbladder removals, colon surgery), hernia repair, tumor removal, and surgery on some endocrine organs.

• Use both open (traditional) surgery and minimally invasive / laparoscopic techniques (in many cases) depending on the condition.

• Ensure the operating room meets sterility and safety standards, supervise the surgical team (anesthesiologists, nurses, technicians), and coordinate all aspects of the operation.

• Pre- and post-operative care & ongoing patient management, preparing patients physically and mentally for surgery, arranging necessary tests, obtaining informed consent.

• Postoperative care, monitor recovery, manage pain, prevent/treat complications (infections, bleeding, etc.), ensure proper wound care and follow-ups.

• Coordinate with other specialties when needed (e.g. anesthesiology, radiology, pathology), and refer or collaborate for comprehensive care.

• Provide urgent surgical treatment in emergency situations (e.g. trauma, appendicitis, internal bleeding, accidents).

• Manage critical care when required — making rapid decisions under pressure for life-saving interventions.
