Job Context:
∎ Organizational Unit/Department : WaSH
∎ Reporting line : Sr. WaSH Officer, BDRCS, PMO
∎ Service type : Contractual
∎ Duration of contract : Until 31.12.2020 (with possibility of extension)
∎ Age Limit : 40 years (may be relaxed for potential candidates)
∎ Duty station : PMO HUB, Ukhiya, Cox`s Bazar

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for the overall field monitoring and effective implementation of WASH activities following plan of action.
∎ Monitoring and supervising community volunteers (desludging team and faecal sludge treatment tea)
∎ • Monitoring sludge treatment process at the lime treatment plant and the IFRC aeration pilot plant.
∎ Receive requests and feedback from community about FSM
∎ Preparing monthly FSM report
∎ Prepare BOQ and specification requisitions for materials as required
∎ Inform BDRCS WASH Expert, program manager, WASH Delegate on any updates related to desludging or faecal sludge treatment. Participate and represent BDRCS in the upazila/union level/camp level WaSH Coordination Meeting
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 1 year relevant working experience in Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (Especially in FSM).
∎ Candidates from local areas Ukhiya and Coxs Bazar Sadar will be given priority.
∎ Good Computer skills
∎ Organization, coordination, and planning skills
∎ Sound knowledge in subject area
∎ Fluent in English and Bangla.
∎ Adhere to the 7 fundamental principles of Red Cross and Red Crescent movement
∎ Act always in accordance with the Code of Conduct
∎ Honest and high level of integrity
∎ Assist the organization on occasion, in times of national, international, or local emergencies or major disasters
