Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assist in the preparation of meals under the supervision of senior chefs, including cutting, chopping, peeling, and basic cooking tasks.
∎ Prepare simple dishes as directed by the Head Chef or Sous Chef.
∎ Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen environment at all times by following food safety regulations.
∎ Help in checking stock levels, organizing storage areas, and ensuring that supplies are adequately maintained.
∎ Assist in cleaning dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as needed.
∎ Help receive deliveries and store ingredients and products correctly.
∎ Follow proper waste disposal procedures to minimize food waste.
∎ Adhere to health and safety regulations and kitchen policies to ensure a safe working environment.
