Educational Requirements:
∎ BBA / MBA major in any subject from any A Graded Universities in Bangladesh
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 6 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Draft all commercial documentation for import and export of RMG goods for assigned account(s).
∎ Submit, track, and follow-up on all commercial documentation related to assigned account(s).
∎ Stay up to date on commercial and logistics regulations for Bangladesh and relevant countries of export.
∎ Review logistics guidelines for all suppliers, clients, and partners related to assigned account(s).
∎ Follow-up with all necessary parties to ensure adherence to logistics guidelines and look for solutions if/when corrective actions are required.
∎ Maintain proper internal communication with the concerned departments and take the initiative when needed.
∎ Maintain constant communication with external agents (DEPZ, Customs, Shipping Agents, C&F, Banks etc.) and follow-up with status updates to minimize possibility of errors/delays.
∎ Promptly provide solutions to unforeseen circumstances as they arise or escalate to relevant party as soon as possible to resolve the issue.
∎ Create and maintain TnA of all orders for assigned account(s) from planning to final delivery step.
∎ Prepare necessary statements and reports as and when required.
∎ Maintain proper storage of all files, documents, correspondence, etc. by each order for assigned account(s).
∎ Maintain proper records or storage of all original documents.
∎ Prepare & submit monthly, quarterly, and annual reports of assigned account(s).
∎ Maintain a record of back-to-back L/C performance for all buyers individually to avoid excess (%) of back-to-back limit.
∎ Prepare consumption statements when C&F comes to our premises to take goods.
∎ Keep track of and renew bond registration.
∎ Create Audit reports (Export Proceed Realization Certificate, Import-Export Performance of Fabrics & Accessories).
∎ Be responsible for the submission of Export documents to local buying house or Buyer’s representative office to get Inspection Certificate.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 38 years
∎ 4 years’ experience with commercial, logistics, and warehousing in RMG industry.
∎ 2 years’ experience working with international freight forwarders, 3PLs, and other 3rd party vendors.
∎ Experience looking for new 3rd party vendors and negotiating contracts.
∎ Good understanding of English (reading and writing).
∎ Proficient in using Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and video conferencing tools.
∎ Ability to work with and learn web-based platforms/software.
∎ Experience with the Apparel Magic platform.
∎ Experience working in shipping, warehousing, or wholesale.
