Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context

We are a growing export-oriented proprietorship company engaged in international trade. We are looking for a Commercial Manager who can independently manage all commercial, banking, and factory-related operations.
The ideal candidate must have solid experience in export documentation, banking procedures, and basic accounting, while also coordinating with production to maintain export schedules.
As this is a proprietorship business, the selected person must be capable of handling all aspects of the company’s operations efficiently and responsibly.


Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare, handle, and manage all export-related documents (EXP, LC, Invoice, Packing List, BL, etc.).

  • Liaise with banks for export document submission, LC negotiation, and incentive file preparation.

  • Prepare and maintain export incentive files and ensure timely submission.

  • Coordinate with the factory/production team to maintain production timelines and export delivery schedules.

  • Maintain proper records of shipments, production, and inventory.

  • Handle commercial correspondence with buyers, C&F agents, and shipping lines.

  • Perform basic accounting tasks, including voucher preparation, expense recording, and assisting in account statements.

  • Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain systematic filing of all commercial documents.

  • Oversee overall administration of office and factory operations for smooth workflow.

  • Report directly to the Proprietor and update on all export, financial, and operational matters.


Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in export-related documentation and commercial work.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting (Master’s preferred).

  • Strong knowledge of banking procedures, LC handling, and export incentives.

  • Practical knowledge of basic accounting and MS Office (Excel, Word).

  • Good communication skills in English and Bangla (both written and verbal).

  • Must be honest, organized, and capable of multitasking independently.

  • Should have the ability to manage factory production schedules and coordinate with different teams.
