Educational Requirements:
∎ Post-Graduation in any discipline preferably commerce/business background with excellent academic record from reputed universities and no third division/class or equivalent CGPA in academic career. Candidates having additional qualifications like CA/ACCA/CIMA/CMA will get preference
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 20 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure adequate & effective internal control system within the organization and assist management in formulating necessary policies, guidelines & procedures to prevent fraudulent activities & probable risks.
∎ Develop & implement all requisite policies, guidelines, manuals for the bank.
∎ Ensure completion of routine audit of Branches & Head Office Divisions as per audit plan, timely address the issues for compliance and place the audit reports before the competent authority.
∎ Follow-up & monitor the surprise & special audits/inspections conducted by Audit & Inspection Team as & when required and place the reports before the competent authority.
∎ Maintain effective liaison with Bangladesh Bank, other Regulatory Authorities and External Auditors etc.
∎ Any other responsibility as & when assigned by the competent authority of the bank from time to time
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 50 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 20 years banking experiences with at least 5 years in ICC Division as Head/ Deputy Head of ICCD/ Head of Audit & Inspection.
∎ Hands on experience in GB, Credit, Foreign Trade, AML & CFT, Audit & Inspection, Monitoring, Compliance.
∎ Sound knowledge & understanding on Companies Act, Bank Companies Act, BASEL Accords, Policy Guidelines/Circulars of Bangladesh Bank & other regulatory authorities, System Audit (Risk based), Money market, Capital Market etc.
∎ Able to formulate, implement & interpret different operational policies, guidelines of the bank.
∎ Adequate branch banking experience.
∎ Thorough understanding of all sorts of banking transaction processes and banking products
∎ Clear understanding of associated risks in banking operations/transactions & its mitigation.
∎ Excellent inter-personal, communication & presentation skills with strong analytical & report writing ability and leadership quality. Strong IT knowledge and good command over Microsoft Word, Excel and Power-point
∎ Ability to work under pressure and very good people dealings with positive attitude
∎ Age, Experience, and Educational Qualification may be relaxed for really deserving candidates
