Job Summery:
As Chest Physiotherapist, the incumbent will be responsible to the Head of Cardiac Surgery for teaching breathing exercises and use of respiratory aids to pre-operative patients. He/She will be responsible to supervise and help post surgery patients with chest physiotherapy and will teach nursing staff the different techniques of Chest physiotherapy. The incumbent may have to attend at night duties as hospital’s need and participate in academic activities and tasks should be performed delegated by seniors.
Essential Functions:
Teach breathing exercises and use of respiratory aids to preoperative patients
supervise and help post surgery patients with chest physiotherapy and will teach nursing staff the different techniques of Chest physiotherapy
Develop excellent interpersonal skills and rapports with all peers’ involved–all doctors, patients and nursing staffs.
Participate in academic activities.
Carry out tasks as assigned by his/her seniors/competent authority.
