Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of practical experience as a Cook in a hotel, resort, restaurant,
dormitory or similar food service establishment.
Experience in managing a small kitchen independently is an advantage.
The Cook/Chef will be responsible for preparing and serving meals for our guests/residents, ensuring high standards of taste, hygiene, and presentation. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Meal Preparation:
Planning and preparing daily meals (breakfast, lunch dinner, snacks) for guests/residents, considering their preferences and dietary needs (e.g., local Bangladeshi cuisine, Indian, Turkeys, Sri Lankan, Chinese).
Following established recipes and developing new dishes as required.
Ensuring timely preparation and serving of all meals. (bakery & fast food)
Kitchen Management:
Managing kitchen inventory including food supplies, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
Placing orders for groceries and supplies in coordination with the In- Charge/Manager.
Monitoring food quality, freshness, and proper storage to minimize waste.
Maintaining a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen environment at all times, adhering to food safety standards.
Operating and maintaining kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Hygiene & Safety:
Strictly adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines.
Ensuring personal hygiene and cleanliness while handling food.
Reporting any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
Guest Satisfaction:
Being responsive to guest/resident feedback regarding food quality and taste.
Adjusting menus or preparation methods as needed to enhance guest satisfaction.
Team Collaboration:
Working effectively with the In-charge and other resort/dormitory staff to ensure smooth operations.
