  • Minimum 2–3 years of proven experience in brand acquisition, business development, and e-commerce management at a reputable e-commerce, retail, or distribution company.

  • Strong existing network with brand distributors and wholesalers (locally & internationally).

  • Solid negotiation, communication, and contract handling skills.

  • Proven success in onboarding and managing high-value brands and partners.

  • Strong understanding of online marketplace dynamics and branded product strategies.


Responsibilities & Context

About the Role:

Edukan is looking for a highly experienced, strategic, and result-driven “Business Development Manager” to lead our initiative of onboarding premium national and international brands onto our e-commerce platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, approach, and acquire premium local and global brands for onboarding to Edukan.

  • Develop strategic partnerships with authorized distributors, brand owners, and licensing representatives.

  • Lead all negotiations, contracts, and onboarding processes with new brand partners.

  • Work closely with product, legal, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth integration of brand catalogue.

  • Monitor brand performance, sales growth, and relationship management post-onboarding.

  • Represent Edukan in national and international meetings/events related to brand partnerships.

  • Candidates must be fluent in the English language & Good knowledge in any computer operations.
