• Practical experience in BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and project budgeting.

• Ability to read, interpret, and review technical drawings and construction plans.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and meet tight project deadlines.

• Strong coordination, problem-solving, negotiation, and teamwork skills.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

• Basic understanding of applicable building regulations, construction safety standards, and compliance requirements.

Job Purpose

To oversee and coordinate building development, construction, renovation, and maintenance projects for new and existing stores, headquarters, and warehouse facilities. The role is responsible for ensuring standardized building designs, quality construction, effective cost management, timely project completion, and compliance with company procedures and applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction, renovation, and maintenance projects for new store openings, existing stores, headquarters, and warehouse facilities.

• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and relevant departments to ensure projects meet company standards, technical specifications, quality requirements, and approved budgets.

• Prepare, review, and verify Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, material specifications, and project budgets.

• Develop and review building layouts, technical drawings, and construction plans using AutoCAD to ensure alignment with operational requirements.

• Monitor construction and renovation activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules, quality standards, safety requirements, and approved specifications.

• Manage tendering processes, evaluate contractor and vendor quotations, and support cost-effective procurement of construction and maintenance services.

• Conduct regular inspections of existing facilities to identify maintenance needs and recommend appropriate repair, renovation, and improvement measures.

• Verify maintenance and renovation proposals and monitor expenditure to ensure effective utilization of resources.

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to assess infrastructure requirements for upcoming store openings and ensure timely project readiness and handover.

• Ensure that all building and maintenance activities comply with applicable national regulations, safety standards, and company policies and procedures.

• Maintain proper documentation of project plans, drawings, BOQs, budgets, contracts, progress reports, and maintenance records.

• Perform other related duties as assigned to support the company's infrastructure development and operational requirements.
