Working Hours & Schedule: Full days require 8 hours from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM (includes a 1-hour break).
Half days run from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

About the Role Legacy Accounting Service is seeking a detail-driven and organized Bookkeeper and Admin Manager. This role is an excellent opportunity for candidates in Bangladesh to work across international bookkeeping functions, administrative operations, and client coordination. Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping & Financial Operations
Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for individuals, businesses, and trusts.
Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
Perform bank, credit card, and ledger reconciliations.
Assist with drafting financial statements such as balance sheets and profit & loss reports.
Support month-end and year-end closing tasks.
Project Management & Execution
Plan, execute, and deliver projects efficiently while managing timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations.
Apply a structured approach to problem-solving and adapt to dynamic project environments.
Track project performance and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Tax & Compliance Support
Assist in preparing supporting documents for Australian tax returns.
Help with BAS, PAYG, GST, and other compliance-related tasks under Australian tax regulations.
Maintain organized records for audit and compliance requirements.
Client Administration
Prepare engagement letters, proposals, and service agreements.
Assist with client onboarding, documentation collection, and profile setup.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records in digital systems.
Administrative & Office Support
Draft professional emails, reminders, and internal correspondence.
Manage calendars, meeting schedules, and follow-up tasks.
Maintain supplier and client databases with up-to-date information.
Communication & Documentation Management
Respond to client inquiries professionally and promptly.
Prepare summaries, checklists, and internal documentation.
Organize digital files for secure and efficient access.
Research & Internal Notes
Conduct research on Australian bookkeeping standards and compliance requirements.
Prepare memos and operational notes for the accounting team.
Systems & Tools
Work with accounting platforms such as Xero and MYOB.
Utilize Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams and Zoom for workflow and communication.
Maintain structured and secure digital filing systems.
Candidate Requirements
Education
Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from a recognized Bangladeshi university.
Professional degree in Accounting (ACCA, CA) or part qualified preferred.
Experience
2 to 6 years of relevant professional experience.
