Blasting

· Perform surface preparation or remove old coating by using sand papering, sand blasting, pressure washing and other approved methods while ensuring compliance with the health and safety guidelines in order to make the surface clean.

Painting

·   Select and apply the applicable coating system by using spray equipment, brushes and rollers while ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines to meet customer’s specification and expectation

*Follow all relevant section’s or department’s policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

Continuous Improvement

*   Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.

Reporting

*  Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate statements or reports to meet section or department’s requirements, policies and quality standards.

Health & Safety

·     Maintain an awareness of all health and safety rules applying to the assigned tasks and tools to ensure that safe working practices are observed.

Use of Tools & Equipment

· Maintain competence in the use of all tools or equipment required for the assigned works.
