Experience:

• Bachelor of Science (BSc)

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biomedical Science,

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering

• At least 2 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hospital, Diagnostic Centre, Clinic

• Age At least 25 years

• Should have minimum 3 years of experience of managing bio-medical equipment in hospitals/healthcare/ laboratories/TB laboratory/public health.

• Should have sound knowledge of all kinds of hospital equipment.

• Should have experience implementing and monitoring maintenance for corporate hospital equipment.

• Excellent communication skills with verbal, written & e-mail.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Responsible to ensure smooth functionality of biomedical engineering department.

• Advise hospital administrators on the planning, acquisition, and use of medical equipment.

• Planning & follow up pre-installation requirements for biomedical machines.

• Drawing up a periodic maintenance & routine servicing schedule for all equipment.

• Install, adjust, maintain, repair, or provide technical support for biomedical equipment.

• Advise and assist in the application of instrumentation in clinical & room environments.

• Evaluate the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomedical equipment.

• Train end user and other personnel on the proper use of equipment.

• Work with Technologist, chemists, and medical person to research the engineering aspects of biological systems of humans.

• Provide information & communication with other departments for biomedical machines functionality.

• Communicating with vendors, the manufacture principal, government officials and other external sources.

• Record keeping of daily service reports, under service report & breakdown register.

• Follow up requirements parts for biomedical machines & Preventive maintenance.
