∎ Age 22 to 28 years
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
∎ Support the implementation of network architecture under the supervision of senior engineers.
∎ Monitor network and server performance and provide first-level support for network and server related issues.
∎ Diagnose and troubleshoot network problems, including connectivity, performance, or security issues.
∎ Use monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, LibreNMS) to track network and server health and performance.
∎ Perform routine network maintenance tasks such as updating firmware, adjusting configurations, and applying security patches.
∎ Provide technical support to internal teams and external clients regarding network issues.
∎ Assist in upgrading network equipment to support new technologies and improve performance.
∎ Demonstrate a basic understanding of networking principles and protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and the OSI model.
∎ Perform basic Mikrotik router configuration, including firewall & security, NAT & routing, and bandwidth management.
∎ Administration in Windows systems, including tasks like OS setup, disk management, firewall configuration, networking, FTP, RDP, and Windows service management.
∎ Work with virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V, VMware, VirtualBox, and Proxmox.
∎ Display basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
∎ Familiarity with DevOps tools is a plus.
∎ A CCNA certification is an added advantage.
∎ Basic knowledge of cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
∎ Basic Linux administration skills, including command-line usage, file system management, user and group management, package management, process management, networking commands, system logs, and permissions.
∎ Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop hardware.
∎ Troubleshoot system, hardware, software, and I/O peripherals.
∎ Assemble desktop PCs.
∎ Fluency in both English and Bangla typing (higher speed will be considered an advantage).
∎ Stay up-to-date with the latest IT-related products, trends, and technologies to ensure effective implementation and support.
∎ Able to work under pressure and collaborate with external vendors for the procurement of IT equipment and warranty services.
