Proven experience managing donor-funded projects (e.g., USAID, FCDO, Freedom Fund, or similar).The applicants should have experience in the following business area: INGO, NGO.Strong understanding of IFRS, NGOAB regulations, and Bangladesh labor and tax laws.Proficiency in MS Excel, QuickBooks, or ERP-based accounting systems.Excellent communication skills in English and Bangla.Proactive and self-motivated.Sensitivity for the safety and well-being of beneficiaries and team members, committed to actively preventing any form of harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, or exploitation, including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA).Maintain awareness and concern for Justice and Care’s safeguarding values, contributing to a safe and respectful environment for all.Commitment to Justice and Care’s mission, vision, and principles.



Responsibilities & Context:

· Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date bookkeeping records for all financial

transactions related to the IACHT project, ensuring alignment with organizational

and donor requirements.

· Ensure proper maintenance of books of accounts in compliance with applicable

accounting standards, including IFRSs and IASs, as well as national laws and

regulations.

· Verify supporting documents before processing payments.

· Support payroll processes, including the calculation and deduction of Advance

Income Tax (AIT) in accordance with statutory requirements.

· Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, as well

as donor reports, under supervision.

· Assist in the preparation and submission of FD-1 to FD-7 forms—covering NGO registration, project approval, foreign fund receipt, project amendments, registration renewal, fund utilization reporting, and bank account authorization—in compliance with the NGO Affairs Bureau requirements. · Compile, analyze, and present financial data to support the Finance Team in informed decision-making. · Contribute to maintaining accurate financial records and monitoring the overall financial performance and status of the project. · Assist in the preparation of documentation for internal and external audits. · Support in responding to audit queries and follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations. · Assist in tracking expenditures and preparing basic variance analysis reports to support effective financial monitoring and control. · Perform any other duties assigned by the Line Manager.
