∎ The USAID's Alliance for Combating TB in Bangladesh project will develop a dynamic, strategic, and fresh approach to accelerate Bangladesh's fight against TB. The solutions will be aimed at creating an environment aligned with the universal health coverage (UHC) vision and focused on defined priority areas - increased TB detection, decentralized DR-TB management, child TB, expanded prevention, and others.
∎ The Assistant Programme Manager will report to the Senior MEL Advisor. The position holder will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing field activities of USAID funded Alliance for Combating TB in Bangladesh project to conduct high-quality field implementation of the project activities. S/he will be involved in-

∎ Coordinate with the local authorities for various aspects of the project;
∎ Supervise and monitor project implementation;
∎ Guide and aid the team members regarding the implementation of planned activities;
∎ Coordinate with HQ team members for timely procurement of resources and materials as per project plan (such as manpower, instruments/tools, laptops etc.);
∎ Distribution of logistics, provide training to the field team;
∎ Report progress to the central management team (CMT) periodically;
∎ Follow-up project activities and provide data and feedback to the supervisor regarding activities conducted among identified TB patients;
∎ Liaise with staff from local and national implementing partners from different organizations, especially those who are related to the project;
∎ Create a work plan (allocation of locations and duties) for the implementation of the intervention project;
∎ Supervise the creation of tools and materials for implementation in collaboration with the central management team (CMT);
∎ Monitor activities and provide guidance, if required;
∎ Train the implementation team to carry out the implementation of the intervention project across the entire field site;
∎ Monitor the progress of the implementation team (quality of data collected, and response rates);
∎ Provide input and guidance to the implementation team, if required;
∎ Collect and analyze data from the community and implementation team, coordinate with the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) team;
∎ Create a detailed project plan covering milestones, deliverables etc. for local-level implementation;
∎ Secure financial and non-financial resources;
∎ Train and supervise staff on data collection and sample collection procedures;
∎ Take corrective actions to comply with donor mandates and project implementation plans.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 05 years of experience in public health-related projects in national/international organizations. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in TB Programme Implementation / working with implementing partners of the National Tuberculosis Control Program (NTP).

Salary:
∎ Annual Tk. 1,389,540/- inclusive of house rent and conveyance allowances and other admissible benefits;

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ 14.8% provident fund contribution, income tax paid by icddr,b, children allowance @Tk.1,917/- per child per month, festival bonus, contributory healthcare support including dependent spouse and children, group life insurance and subsidized canteen. Transport and daycare facilities are subject to space availability.
