Job Context:
∎ Purpose: As a member of MJF team the Assistant Program Manager is responsible to assist project team in planning, organizing and implementing multiple activities at project locations. The Assistant Program Manager will be the key contact with youth individuals, groups and forums to engage them in project interventions, identify and nurture youth potentials within project locations. S/he will be also responsible to mobilize educational institutions for larger youth engagement to deliver project aims. The Assistant Manager will facilitate linkage between youth and local stakeholders. S/he will support the project team in report preparation and dissemination. This is a Dhaka based position
∎ Employment Status: Contractual (02 years)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Mobilize grassroots individual youth, forums, organizations and platforms
∎ Liaison with education institutes and other stakeholders to reach out potential youth
∎ Report and document of all project interventions
∎ Manage and facilitate events, campaigns and carnivals etc.
∎ Maintain regular communication and networking with different youth individual, forums, platforms and local level stakeholders
∎ Providing capacity building support to youth as per project needs
∎ Collect and synthesize field data and information and provide support to communication team to develop infographics, media contents and other narratives
∎ Support program team in advocacy process and facilitate linkage with local level stakeholders
∎ Ensure participation of diversified youth from different socio-economic background
∎ Facilitate and monitor small scale grant initiated by youth
Additional Requirements:
∎ Skill:
∎ Proven ability to manage youth related project
∎ Expertise in youth & community mobilization
∎ Facilitation of capacity building initiatives (training/workshop)
∎ Ability to prepare event reports, narratives and meeting minutes
∎ Ability to work with multi-level stakeholders
∎ Ability to manage and utilize digital platforms
∎ Competencies:
∎ In-depth understanding on youth situation in Bangladesh, independent learning, team work efficiency, self-driven leadership and proactive communication.
∎ Experience Requirement:
∎ Minimum 3-5 years of experience in development initiatives is required.
∎ Working experience with national or international NGOs will be preferred
∎ Youth belong to 25-35 years age range are highly encouraged to apply
Salary: Tk. 60000 (Monthly)
