Candidates with higher education qualifications (MPH, MSN) and relevant teaching experience will be given preference.

Candidates with advanced academic qualifications will be preferred.
Relevant clinical experience is required.
Ph.D. degree will be considered an added advantage.
Responsibilities & Context:
Grameen Caledonian College of Nursing (GCCN) is looking for dynamic professional nursing leaders for the position of Asst. Professor.
Nursing professors implement the curriculum in order to prepare students adequately for the challenges present within all aspects of the nursing field. In order to keep up with the current needs of nursing, professors revise their programs where and when necessary. Like nurses, professors often need specialized teaching competency in which they have an expert, such as pediatrics, mental health, or critical care.
Lead the nursing research strategy and foster a strong research culture within the institution.
Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students to the highest professional and academic standards.
Lead and manage academic and research staff as appropriate.
Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations, projects, and research activities.
Implement the College’s philosophy and curriculum to achieve program outcomes and course objectives through effective classroom and clinical teaching.
Participate in academic advising and counseling for assigned groups of students.
Evaluate and document students’ performance in alignment with course objectives.
Assess and grade students’ classwork, laboratory work, clinical activities, assignments, and coursework.
Plan, evaluate, and revise curriculum, course content, instructional materials, and teaching methodologies.
Participate in student recruitment, registration, and placement activities.
Serve on academic and administrative committees addressing institutional policies, departmental matters, and academic affairs.
Perform administrative duties, including serving as Department Head when required.
