Responsibilities & Context:
Preparation of course materials, including session plans, homework, assignments, and handouts.
Preparation and delivery of lectures for undergraduate and/or graduate students in subjects such as Research in Midwifery and Nursing.
Preparation and conduct of examinations; evaluation of students’ progress; and maintenance of records of students’ classroom and clinical performance.
Cooperation with medical and nursing personnel to evaluate and improve teaching methods and nursing practices.
Supervision of students’ laboratory and clinical work.
Evaluation and grading of students’ class work, laboratory work, clinical performance, assignments, and research papers.
Collaboration with colleagues to address teaching, curriculum, and research-related issues.
Planning and evaluation of course content, instructional materials, and teaching methodologies.
Maintenance of students’ attendance records, grades, and other academic documentation.
Supervision of undergraduate and/or graduate teaching and research activities.
Conducting research in specialized areas and publishing findings in professional journals, books, and electronic media.
Participation in student recruitment, registration, and placement activities.
Serving on academic and administrative committees related to institutional policies, departmental matters, and academic affairs.
Performing administrative duties, including serving as Department Head when required.
