Job Context:
∎ Responsible for the Development and Production of top quality Flat Knit products in line with the company strategy and customer‘s expectations.
∎ Apply best practice thinking and practices in order to control, assess and maintain the quality standards in line with customers requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Encourages and enhances transparency by involving others in the change process to gain buy-in and more effectively embed changes into day-to-day operations.
∎ Identify risk mitigation options and discuss with cross functional partners.
∎ Takes the initiative to make timely decisions even in difficult or unclear situations.
∎ Proactively share knowledge and resources with other individuals/teams via digital and social platforms to support their success.
∎ Create opportunities for team members to strengthen their networks, value their openion and seek out diversity of opinion.
∎ Make an earnest effort to repair trust among team members as or when required.
∎ Adjust approach based on an intimate understanding of customers’ needs and own area of expertise.

∎ Monitor supplier sample development performance to identify areas for improvement.

∎ Support their ownership of a development plan via delivering timely and specific feedback for improving performance.
∎ Ensure Suppliers are adequately trained to reduce the ‘cost of quality’ through effective workmanship engineering and identifying cost reduction opportunities during new product development.
∎ Contribute to the development and management of Li & Fung‘s quality and product safety standards.
∎ Ensure team members grasp the implications of their actions for the business via adapting own communication style, language and business practices to reflect the cultural preferences of customers (internal/external).
∎ Help team members find ways to test new ideas efficiently through rapid prototyping and view innovation as a journey that may involve many turns.
∎ Promote collaboration and idea sharing among team members via encouraging others to express their full innovative self and explore new ways of doing things.
∎ Validate quality requirements, policies and procedures to ensure that new product will consistently meet the customer's requirements.
