M. Sc in Microbiology preferably from a Public University.
Min. 5 years working experience in the mentioned department.
Good interpersonal & communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
Responsibilities & Context:
Supervise routine microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, water, and environmental monitoring samples.
Prepare test procedures, protocols, SOPs
Plan and schedule laboratory work, allocate tasks, and manage team performance.
Oversee environmental monitoring of cleanrooms, aseptic areas, and controlled zones.
Monitor and coordinate sterility testing, endotoxin testing, microbial limit tests, and bioburden testing.
Maintain, calibrate, and qualify microbiology laboratory equipment (incubators, autoclaves, isolators, LAFs).
Train and mentor laboratory staff on microbiological methods, aseptic techniques, and safety procedures.
Investigate and document OOS (Out of Specification), OOT (Out of Trend), deviations, and nonconformities related to microbiology.
Support audits and inspections by regulatory bodies and clients; ensure readiness at all times.
Contribute to continual improvement projects, validation activities, and new method development.
