Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in any discipline; preferably in Chemistry, Textile or Apparel Manufacturing.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 8 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Denim Washing (Dry Process)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Check all the Dry process and preparation phases necessary to produce (washing) a costume in the allotted time.
∎ Monitor dry process production and ensure optimum utilization of man, machine and material in the Dry process section during the assigned shift.
∎ Increase productivity and reduce labor costs through updating the information i.e. problem faced on a daily basis and giving target to the workers with the help of in charge and supervisor.
∎ Discuss with merchandising and Stitching Units regarding daily basis wash fabric requirements and make the wash fabric swatch accordingly.
∎ Apply the Dry procedures and standards stated in the Dry process agreement.
∎ Plan to reduce wastage at Dry process stage.
∎ Ensure the necessary operation as required by the buyers.
∎ Evaluate staff performance, disciplinary matters, training needs, and their career development plans.
∎ Lead safety, quality and compliance activities in the workplace to ensure zero NC.
∎ Ensure and maintain a clean and tidy site.
∎ Handle other responsibilities and projects, as assigned from time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 40 years
∎ In-depth knowledge and experience of Dry process in a reputed denim washing industry.
∎ Hands-on experience on Hand Brushing, Whisker, 3D, PP Spry, Grinding, Damaging, Resin, etc. process.
∎ Up-to-date knowledge and skills in garments manufacturing and washing.
∎ In-depth knowledge about denim product and quality control mechanism of buyers.
∎ Computer literacy (Oracle/ERP environment)
∎ Must be fluent in English (Reading, writing and speaking).
∎ Team Leader with proactive interpersonal skills.
∎ Ability to work hard and control pressure.
∎ An open-minded approach towards learning new skills and sharpening existing skill sets.
∎ Result-oriented and a strong desire for success.
∎ Self-starter & proactive .
