Additional Requirements:
  • Age At least 20 years
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any subject from a reputable university/college (English, Mathematics, or Science preferred).

  • At least 1st division/GPA 4.0 in SSC/HSC and minimum 2nd class/CGPA 3.0 in Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.

  • Preference will be given to candidates with 3-4 years of experience as a Teacher / Head Teacher.

  • Candidates with B.Ed./M.Ed. will be given additional preference.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • Administrative and pedagogy expertise.

  • Proficiency in English and Bangla (spoken and written).

  • Basic computer literacy (MS Office, email, internet).



Responsibilities & Context:

BRAC Education Programme has expanded its reputed primary school network, BRAC Academy, and currently operates eight campuses across the country - Chattogram, Dhaka, Noakhali, Jashore, Rajshahi, Bogura, and Cumilla, along with Sylhet. We are now seeking a qualified Assistant Head Teacher for the Sylhet campus to strengthen academic leadership and ensure quality education delivery.

We are seeking Assistant Head Teacher to provide academic leadership, and maintain high standards of teaching and learning.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the academic and administrative functions of the school.

  • Supervise and support teachers to ensure high-quality classroom instruction.

  • Implement and monitor curriculum, lesson plans, and assessments.

  • Engage with parents, and the community to promote student development.

  • Organise co-curricular activities.
