Experience:
10–12 years of progressive experience in industrial maintenance, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial/leadership role.
Strong background in mechanical systems within Electronics Industries or large-scale manufacturing industries.
Proven expertise in preventive/predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and project execution.
Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of modern maintenance practices (TPM, RCM, CMMS).
Excellent communication, team management, and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Purpose
To lead, plan, and oversee all maintenance activities of plant machinery, utilities, and infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime, efficiency, and safety. The role involves developing preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, minimizing breakdowns, managing resources effectively, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
•Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance plans for all machinery, equipment, and utilities.
•Ensure minimum downtime and maximum efficiency of production equipment through proactive maintenance.
•Supervise and guide the maintenance team (mechanical, staff) in day-to-day activities.
•Monitor spare parts inventory, procurement, and usage to ensure availability while optimizing costs.
•Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and implement permanent corrective actions.
•Plan and oversee shutdown maintenance, overhauls, and machine upgrades.
•Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards, environmental regulations, and statutory requirements.
•Prepare and manage annual maintenance budgets and cost control measures.
•Coordinate with production, quality, and other departments to align maintenance activities with operational requirements.
•Maintain detailed records of maintenance schedules, breakdowns, repairs, and performance reports.
•Evaluate, recommend, and implement new technologies to improve efficiency, reliability, and sustainability of plant operations.
•Lead and train maintenance teams to build technical skills and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
