Responsibilities & Context:
  • Developing and implementing HR & Compliance strategies in line with the Business Plan, Labor Law, Buyers' COC and according to Industry standards.
  • Preparing the factory complying with the COCs of the different buyers with a view to facing different compliance audits, RSC, FWF, WARP, BSCI, SEDEX, environmental, technical, CTPAT, SLCP, OEKO-TEX, GRS, RCS, GOTS & OCS, HIGG FEM etc.
  • Leading the HR & Compliance team about the CAPs of different audits and ensure smooth rectification.
  • Administrating different compliance training programs for workers in factory.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees.
  • Managing the issues pertaining to Industrial Relations (IR) according to Laws in force along with formulating motivational factors and conflict management.
  • Maintaining liaison with agencies/organizations (Govt./Private) like BGMEA, BKMEA, compliance auditors, BERC, Fire Service & Civil Defense, Labor Office, Environment office, Local influences etc.
  • Developing initiatives to nurture a positive working environment, reduce absenteeism & turnover through close monitoring, counseling and bridging management employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, and discipline & performance issues.
  • Guiding Management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating the company’s service rules, policies, procedures, methods and enforcing company values.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations including chemical handling, waste management and pollution control.
  • Perform overall administrative duties of the factory.
  • Any other assignment as assigned by the top management.
