Role Overview: We seek a multidisciplinary professional Assistant Engineer to develop and integrate cutting edge technologies that enable transparent, circular, and data-driven sustainability solutions. The role will support for developing innovative solutions leveraging Artificial intelligence & Machine learning, blockchain for traceability, dataspaces for secure data sharing, Digital Product Passports (DPP), and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) to advance circular economy goals.

Key areas of technology:

• Secure, decentralized data infrastructures using blockchain, Dataspace or similar architectures.
• Digital Product Passports (DPPs) that support traceability, sustainability, and regulatory compliance.
• Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), using Environmental Footprint (EF) method and planetary boundaries framework.
• Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning knowledge & techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research Support: Conducting literature reviews and synthesizing existing research
• Managing, organizing, analysing and interpreting data for analysis, assisting with statistical analysis, producing reports and presentations summarizing findings.
• Document technical developments, publish results, and contribute to project deliverables and scientific publications.
• Learning new technologies and contributing for developing innovative solutions Communicating findings and progress to researchers and other stakeholders.
• Collaborating with researchers and other professionals.
