Educational Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years’ experience in mainstream/online investigative journalism
∎ In-depth understanding of misinformation/fake news
∎ Understanding of the management of information ecosystem
∎ Demonstrated writing capacity in both English and Bangla
∎ Seasoned user of social media and Internet resources
∎ Graduate degree in any discipline

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assigning topics to the fact-checkers, and approving fact-check reports with the guidance of the Editor
∎ Editing the report to make it publication worthy
∎ Guiding the fact-checkers in evidence collection
∎ Navigating various resources and communication platforms
∎ Managing the web/cloud-based archives
∎ Responding to feedback from readers
∎ Managing social media pages of Facebook, etc., and other small groups for internal communication
∎ Taking an active lead on social media/digital literacy programs

Salary: Negotiable
