Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Responsible to preparation of monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly Accounts of SAHIC and its all projects according to IAS & IFRS.
∎ Responsible to prepare the budget for SAHIC and its all projects.
∎ Responsible to monitor actual expenditure, analyzing budget variance and take necessary step aligning with relevant stakeholder.
∎ Implement investment decision of SAHIC Trust and its project’s fund.
∎ Collaborate Accounts department’s employees of SAHIC and authorities.
∎ Miscellaneous accounts and finance related work.
∎ Society for Assistance to Hearing Impaired Children (SAHIC) is a voluntary non-government organization established in February 1987 and registered with the Department of Social Services, Social Welfare, Directorate General of Social Welfare, and NGO Affairs Bureau Bangladesh, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, with the aim and objectives of prevention, early detection, and rehabilitation of hearing impaired children, along with treatment of general people's ear, nose, and throat diseases.
∎ About the role:
∎ The Assistant Financial Officer is responsible for supporting various financial operations within the organization. This role encompasses a wide range of financial tasks, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, and analysis. The Finance Generalist plays a key role in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of financial processes and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
