Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: CA (CC) course completed will be highly preferable.
∎ Skills Required: Advanced user of MS Office tools (Especially on MS Excel).
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
3 to 5 years experience in Accounting related field.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Trading or Export/Import
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Process bills for payment in accordance with company's laid down policies, procedures and guidelines.
∎ Update work of accounts and produce necessary statements through software.
∎ Check all bills regarding general ledgers and other relevant documents.
∎ Process advance payments and track outstanding advances.
∎ Process accounting vouchers by providing proper and posting into the system.
∎ Make adjustment entries and make necessary provisions.
∎ Assist to prepare financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow etc.) of the company on regular basis as desired by the supervisor.
∎ Ensure VAT payments are made strictly in accordance with the prevalent Act and Rules.
∎ Ensure tax deduction at source in accordance with the Income Tax Ordinance and timely submission of returns.
∎ Ensure general compliance with the tax ordinance.
∎ Confirm VAT, TAX deduction and other regulatory compliance of the organizations.
∎ Initiate and progress legal action and notices where appropriate within set timescales and in accordance with recovery policy.
∎ Ensure recovery actions are taken within set timescales and according to relevant policy.
∎ To maximize the collection of arrears by being proactive in contacting customer by phone, mail and any other medium required.
∎ To maximize the collection of arrears by agreeing payment plans to clear arrears within reasonable timescales.
∎ Ensure payment plans are maintained and take relevant proactive action where they are not.
∎ Prepare legal documentation in accordance with the outstanding pre action protocol where required.
∎ Prepare write off of accounts in accordance with the company policy.
∎ Maintain relationships and refer cases where appropriate to the sustainability, letting, universal credit and customer relation teams.
∎ Any other's responsibility will be assigned by management, if required.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 27 to 33 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Knowledge in Account & Recovery system & it's SOP.
∎ Good knowledge & skills in MS Office package.
∎ Able to work under pressure and complete the task within a preset time-frame.
∎ Ability to effectively communicate and correspond with the concern department and customers.
Salary: Tk. 25000 - 32000 (Monthly)
