Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree in the field of education, public administration or a related field relevant to the position (social studies, anthropology, sociology, etc.).
∎ Master's degree or equivalent is preferred.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ Job Location: Cox`s Bazar with visits to Teknaf and Ukhya
∎ Band: 4T
∎ Contract Duration: Up to 30 June 2022 (Possibility of extension until 30 June 2023)

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum of five (5) years of experience providing capacity-building support through training, consultations and other mechanisms to government, civil society and professional entities with varying levels of organizational capacity
∎ Minimum three (3) years substantive training experience, including the design, facilitation and delivery of trainings or training-of-trainer workshops for adult learners
∎ Proven ability to assess and diagnose capacity building needs and to conceptualize and design training material (modules, handouts, etc).
∎ 3-5 years of experience in technical cooperation and project management with assignments that are thematically relevant; especially previous exposure to FDMN (Forcibly Displaced Myanmar Nationals) / Rohingya refugee and host community issues and the related support context is a distinctive advantage.
∎ Previous job experience in GIZ will be an asset
∎ Ability to work well under pressure and must be a strong team player
∎ Must have good interpersonal and communication skills
∎ Fluency in English is essential
∎ Knowledge of German Language is an asset
∎ Ability to work in an intercultural environment
∎ Good working knowledge of ITC technologies (related software, phone, fax, email, the internet) and computer applications (e.g. MS Office)
∎ Ability to plan and prioritize work in line with agreed upon strategies and workplans, and to adjust priorities and plans as required
