∎ QUALIFICATIONS
∎ A.     EDUCATION
∎ Graduate from any discipline from any reputed institution. However, English-medium academic background is preferred.

∎ B.     EXPERIENCE
∎ 2–3 years of relevant experience in academic counseling, student services or admissions is preferred.
∎
∎ C.     OTHER REQUIREMENTS
∎ ·        Excellent communication skills in English and Bangla (both spoken and written).
∎ ·        Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic IT tools.
∎ ·        Strong interpersonal skills, a service-oriented mindset, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
∎ ·        A flexible attitude and eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Serve as the first point of contact for prospective students, delivering accurate, comprehensive, and timely information to ensure a high-quality service experience.
∎ Provide clear guidance on ULAB’s academic programs, admission requirements, scholarship opportunities, tuition payment procedures, and other facilities.
∎ Counsel admission seekers with professionalism, helping them make informed decisions about choosing ULAB as their higher education destination.
∎ Respond to inquiries through multiple channels (in person, phone, email, social media) on a first-come, first-served basis, ensuring prompt and courteous service.
∎ Assist in the coordination and execution of admission-related events, including admission tests, Open Day, and Outreach reach programs.
∎ Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inquiries and applicant data in the Admissions Office database.
∎ Foster a welcoming environment, demonstrating a helpful attitude, and contributing to overall applicant satisfaction.
∎ Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of the admissions process.
∎ JOB CONTEXT
∎ The Admission Counselor will serve as the first point of contact for prospective students, delivering accurate, comprehensive, and timely information to ensure a high-quality service experience. S/he will provide clear guidance to the admission seekers on ULAB’s academic programs, admission requirements, scholarship opportunities, tuition payment procedures, and other facilities.

∎ The incumbent will report to the Head of the Admission Office
