Responsibilities & Context:

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Manager who will be responsible for leading accounts operations, UK payroll management. Mortgage Magic™™'s innovative solutions, and driving sustainable business growth. The ideal candidate will have excellent accounts & finance management skills, strong English communication abilities. They will be working for Mortgage Magic (UK) accounts & local accounts via local company. They will be working for the UK but from Bangladesh. For really good performers there will be opportunities to move to UK

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and supervise day-to-day accounts and finance activities

  • Prepare and review bank reconciliation statements on a regular basis

  • Handle multiple bank accounts and ensure timely reconciliation of transactions

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

  • Monitor cash flow, fund management, and budgeting

  • Maintain proper documentation for audit and compliance purposes

  • Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies

  • Supervise accounts staff and ensure accuracy of financial records

  • Support management with financial analysis and reporting

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting

  • Proficiency in accounting software (Quick book).

  • Advanced skills in MS Excel, Advance Excel, Word, and financial reporting

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Strong experience in annual budgeting and financial planning.

  • Strong experience in cost control and expense management.

  • Oversee and manage all financial and accounting operations

  • Ensure proper compliance with VAT, Tax, TDS, and other statutory requirements

  • Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely completion

  • Ability to take initiative and generate ideas for complex situations.

  • Diplomacy skills and ability to understand and handle multiple perspectives.

  • UK Pay Roll, Management Accounts & Bangladesh Accounts.

  • Regular updates of cash and bankbook in accounting software (quick book).

  • Monitor the quality of the accountancy (proper supporting documents, voucher description etc.)

  • Maintaining Cashbook, bank book, General ledger, subsidiary ledger, and other required registers.

  • Ensure the correct deduction of VAT and Tax and deposit it on time.

  • Maintain safe cash denomination & cash count as per company policy

  • Prepare/review budget forecast, with quarterly and monthly budget breakdown, for projects and the program.

  • Implement and monitor budgetary control activities.

  • Develop a monthly variance report of the budgeted and actual expenses, showing the reasons for variance.

  • Provide financial analysis to management for early decision-making.

  • Ensure all financial reports and budgets are accurate.

  • Perform periodic checks and verify different finance and accounts-related reports, documents, and compliance requirements.

  • Supports internal and external audits and support in preparing an action plan

  • and implementation as per recommendations.

  • Financial Planning, Budgeting for Operation & Variance analysis.

  • Making analysis reports & controlling the monthly OPEX.

  • Keep updating bank position, arrangement of fund and management of fund & ensure documents.

  • Monitor all types of vouchers & accounts heads & closing the month end allocated & provision posting as per checklist.

  • Account Receivable & Account Payable maintenance as per company policy.

  • UK Pay Roll, Management Accounts & Bangladesh Accounts.

  • Provide information & prepare reports as per management requirement.
