- Professional qualification such as ACCA (preferred)

Responsibilities & Context: Job Summary
The Accounts Manager will oversee all financial and accounting operations of engineering and construction projects, ensuring accurate reporting, cost control, and compliance with financial regulations. The role involves close coordination with project, procurement, and HR teams to manage budgets, payroll, and project finances.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage overall accounting operations including general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Monitor and control project budgets, costing, and cash flow
- Handle project-based accounting (WIP, cost allocation, revenue recognition)
- Supervise payroll processing for engineers, workers, and staff
- Manage accounts payable & receivable, including contractor/vendor payments
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, VAT, and financial regulations
- Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits
- Analyze financial data to support project planning and decision-making
- Maintain proper documentation for contracts, procurement, and expenses
