Job Context:
∎ The Academic Coordinator will have overall responsibility of CPJ`s academic programme. The position holder will be a member of CPJ`s senior management team. The position holder is expected to be strategic, articulate with conceptual clarity, having knowledge and expertise of using education frameworks and tools.
∎
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for overall academic programme design of CPJ;
∎ Will be responsible for strategic directions of the academic programme;
∎ Will be responsible for designing various academic programs and goal setting;
∎ Coordinate the academic activities within CPJ and liaise with OSUN Hubs secretariate;
∎ Develop proposals and curricula for new academic programs at CPJ;
∎ Work with CPJ and OSUN hubs communications team for developing a communication strategy, framework, and tools to showcase achievements of academic activities;
∎ Support CPJ's research, capacity-building work, and advocacy activities;
∎ Develop networks and working collaborations with the partners, stakeholders, and authorities in Bangladesh and overseas;
∎ Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the line supervisor;
∎ Frequent travel to the Refugee Studies Unit (RSU) in Cox's Bazar, Ukhiya, and abroad;
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Excellent Command of written and oral English and Bangla;
∎ Excellent IT skills are a requirement;
∎ Must be proficient in education technology and tools;
∎ Should have experience in developing and conducting short courses and workshops;
∎ Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines;
∎ Must possess interpersonal and analytical skills;
∎ Must be proactive and insightful;
