Professional Experience:
5-7 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical procurement, supply chain, inventory, or Pharmacy operations.
At least 2-3 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory position.
Experience of working with pharmaceutical companies, authorized medicine distributors, pharmacy chains, or retail pharmacy operations.
Proven experience in supplier management, procurement planning, warehouse operations, and inventory control.
Professional Qualification:
Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical procurement process and supplier management.
Understanding of medicine storage, handling, batch tracking, and expiry management.
Expertise in Inventory management, stock replenishment, FIFO/FEFO, and stock reconciliation.
Proficiency in MS Excel, POS, ERP, and inventory management software.
Additional Requirements:
High level of Integrity, accountability, and professional ethics.
Experience in multi outlet Pharmacy or medicine retail chain management.
Established professional relationships with pharmaceutical suppliers and distributors.
Experience in implementing procurement policies, operational SOPs, and internal control systems.
Knowledge of good Pharmacy practice and pharmaceutical quality assurance.

Purpose Statement: To lead and manage the end to end operational and procurement activities of Care & Cure Medicine division, ensuring uninterrupted product availability, efficient supply chain management, cost effective procurement, and operational excellence. The position is responsible for developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, maintaining optimal inventory levels, ensuring product quality and regulatory compliance, and strengthening warehouse to showroom operations. The role aims to maximize business profitability, minimize operational risks, and ensure a reliable customer focused pharmaceutical retail operation through effective planning, process control, and team leadership.
Principal Accountabilities:
Develop procurement plans based on sales forecast, stock requirements, product demand, and business growth objectives.
Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with authorized pharmaceutical suppliers and Distributors to ensure competitive pricing, quality and timely delivery.
Review purchase requisitions, verify stock requirements, obtain necessary approvals, and ensure timely issuance of purchase orders.
Ensure uninterrupted availability of first moving, essential, and high demand medicines across all Care & Cure outlets.
Monitor stock levels, stock turnover, slow moving items, near expiry products, and replenishment requirements to maintain optimum inventory.
Supervise medicine receiving, quality checking, storage, preservation, stock arrangement, and distribution to showrooms.
Establish effective monitoring and control mechanisms for expired, near-expiry, damaged, and returned medicines to minimize financial losses.
Monitor purchase prices, selling prices, discounts, and product-wise margins to ensure competitive pricing and sustainable profitability within applicable regulations.
Supervise procurement and warehouse personnel, coordinate with pharmacists, showroom teams, and accounts personnel, and ensure clear operational accountability.
Ensure accurate system-based purchase entries, stock transfers, supplier records, inventory documentation, and proper authorization of transactions.
Monitor procurement budgets, supplier outstanding balances, purchase expenses, stock valuation, and operational costs in coordination with Accounts.
Prepare periodic procurement and operational reports covering stock status, purchase performance, supplier performance, expiry losses, and inventory discrepancies.
Identify opportunities to optimize procurement costs, improve supply chain efficiency, introduce technology-driven solutions, and support business expansion.
