Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (BBA), management, marketing, accounting, or Finance from a recognized University.
Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), or a relevant discipline will be preferred.
Additional Requirements
- Age 30 to 40 years
Professional Qualification:
Professional training or certification in Retail Management, Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, or Business Operations will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical retail operations and applicable drug regulation in Bangladesh is preferred.
Understanding of FMCG, departmental store, and modern retail business management will be an advantage.
Additional Requirements:
Strong understanding of retail business operations, financial management, procurement, and inventory control.
Proficiency in MS Excel, systems, ERP and accounting software.
Ability to analyze sales performance, stock movement, profitability, and operational reports.

Purpose Statement: To lead and oversee the overall business operations of Care & Cure’s medicine and departmental Store divisions, ensuring operational excellence, profitable growth and customer satisfaction. The position is responsible for driving sales performance, managing procurement and inventory, ensuring product availability and quality strengthening financial and operational controls, developing an efficient Workforce, and maintaining regularity compliance. The role aims to establish a sustainable, customer centric retail business through effective leadership, process optimization, and continuous business development.
Principal Accountabilities:
Oversee overall medicine and departmental store operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and standardized daily activities.
Develop and execute self-strategies, achieve monthly sales targets, and drive business growth across both divisions.
Ensure timely procurement, supplier coordination, competitive pricing, product quality, and uninterrupted product availability.
Monitor stock levels, product movement, stock aging, expiry dates, damages and replenishment to maintain optimum inventory.
Ensure proper receiving, storage, preservation, stock handling, and distribution of products from the central warehouse to showrooms.
Monitor sales revenue, operating expenses, cash management, profitability, and budget utilization to maximize business returns.
Ensure quality customer service, product availability, compliant resolution, and a positive shopping experience.
Lead, supervise, and develop the operational team through performance monitoring, target setting, training, and accountability.
Establish and Implement operational SOPs covering procurement, inventory, sales, cash management, and Reporting across both divisions.
Ensure compliance with applicable pharmaceutical, trade, VAT, tax, safety, and other regulatory requirements. Maintain proper product quality and storage standards.
Review daily, weekly, and monthly business performance, analyze KPIs, identify gaps, and submit management reports with corrective action plans.
Identify new business opportunities, improved product categories, strengthen supplier relationships, and explore potential expansion opportunities.
Ensure proper authorization, documentation, stock verification, cash reconciliation, and segregation of duties to minimize operational and financial risks.
Introduce technology driven (POS Software & Accounts Management) solutions, improve operational processes, optimize resources, and enhance overall business productivity.
