Job Context:
∎ The Bangladesh Aquaculture & Nutrition Activity (BANA) is a project funded by USAID`s Feed the Future program. One area of operation is the area affected by Rohingya refugees in Cox`s Bazar and Bandorban districts - the ZOR (Zone of Resilience).
∎ The ZOR Coordinator acts as a regional manager and to will facilitate oversee activities for increasing smallholder production and strengthen value chains to improve nutrition and incomes through aquaculture sector investments by BANA. BANA delivers services via partners only, and the ZOR Coordinator will work closely with these partners (commercial businesses and NGOs). The ZOR Coordinator also supervises a small staff in two offices in the ZOR.
∎ This position will be based at WorldFish`s Country Office in Cox`s Bazar, Bangladesh. Interviews are expected to be held in November 2019 and only shortlisted candidates will be notified and expected to attend the interview. The successful candidate should be available to commence as soon as possible for an initial three (3) years fixed term contract, with the possibility of contract renewal depending on performance and funding availability.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide daily oversight of the activities of BANA sub-grantees through regular field visits to project sites and frequent communication with BANA staff in both technical and grant management areas. Coordinate operational support including administrative, grants, finance, and procurement functions.
∎ Provide continuous capacity building support to partners for efficient grant management and compliance with BANA, USAID, and WorldFish regulations and procedures.
∎ Coordinate and facilitate meetings and field visits.
∎ Lead planning and budgeting for ZOR activities.
∎ Work closely with the monitoring, evaluation, and learning team to facilitate data collection, analysis, interpretation, and report preparation.
∎ Facilitate knowledge management to ensure learning for both internal and external users.
∎ Ensure delivery of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual progress reports.

Additional Requirements:
∎ This job is open to Bangladesh Nationals with the following skills and qualifications:
∎ Minimum 10 years of professional experience working with agriculture, value chain approaches, M4P, market systems, or enterprise development-- preferably in the aquaculture sector.
∎ Excellent communication, time management, and training skills.
∎ Excellent organizational skills and ability to implement work plans diligently.
∎ Ability to work independently.
∎ Proven experience planning & designing, implementation, monitoring, and report writing.
∎ Strong understanding of gender, youth, environment and nutrition sensitive approaches to enterprise development.
∎ Strong team building and interpersonal skills to build network among stakeholders, with the ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
∎ Proficient in MS office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook to support effective communication.
∎ Previous experience applying market systems approach in aquaculture and fisheries sector in Bangladesh and work experience in entrepreneurship development, business management facilitation, or private sector engagement.
