Job Context:
∎ Purpose:
∎ The Video Editor and Animator, BYLCx will shoot lecture videos for BYLCx and edit them. The Video Editor and Animator, BYLCx will accomplish the bulk of the technical tasks related to production and post-production. He or she will transport, set up, and operate equipment; and assist with staging and set preparation.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Designing and producing motion graphic elements to complement learning video footage
∎ Designing and producing animated learning video from scratch with minimal existing footage
∎ Creating storyboards for video idea for social media audience
∎ Digitally cutting the files to put together the sequence of the film and deciding what is usable
∎ Understanding of optimizing video content for audiences of different age and interests
∎ Thoroughly understanding and acting as a guardian of brand identity guidelines
Additional Requirements:
∎ More than 1-2 years of relevant experience
∎ Skills:
∎ Excellent technical skills as an editor, including knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop
∎ Skilled camera operator, sound recordist, lighting technician
∎ Demonstrable content generation skills such as research and interviewing
∎ Have specific platform experience, notably Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+ and LinkedIn8
∎ Understand best practice in Social Media
∎ Desirable: Experience of using a CMS for uploading and editing content
