∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc)
∎ BSc in CSE or relevant fields
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work with the team to design and build software applications to function across multiple platforms
∎ Produce front-end code and visual comps to create a polished and highly functional user interface with a focus on usability and simplicity of design
∎ Collaborate with end-users of software programs, including managers, to determine user needs and adapt programming accordingly
∎ Ensure software operates ideally across a range of programs and platforms, including Linux, Windows, Mac, and various mobile operating systems
∎ Use graphic design software to create branding and logos and incorporate visual elements into programming with the goal of creating a streamlined design and a pleasant but visually simple user interface
∎ Conduct thorough testing of user interfaces in multiple platforms to ensure all designs render correctly and systems function properly, incorporating feedback from actual potential users as well as team members
∎ Solve any design or usability issues that arise and anticipate potential future problems so they can be resolved before they impact users
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 27 to 35 years
∎ Detailed experience of web markup, with coding and the ability to troubleshoot and analyze websites using HTML, CSS, comparable, server-side, and client-side scripting, and pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
∎ Good understanding of JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, DurandalJS, jQuery, etc.
∎ Continued education and research into UI development trends and current design strategy and technology
∎ Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
∎ Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize code for the best possible outcome
∎ Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git / Mercurial / SVN
∎ Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment to create top-performing interfaces
∎ Proficient with image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop is a must.
∎ Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
