Responsibilities & Context:

Key Responsibilities

1. Consult with clients to understand their travel needs, preferences, and budgets.

2. Recommend and sell travel products and services, including flights, hotels, tours, cruises, travel insurance, and transportation.

3. Create customized travel itineraries and holiday packages.

4. Process reservations, bookings, amendments, and cancellations accurately.

5. Provide clients with information on destinations, visa requirements, travel regulations, and travel safety.

6. Respond to inquiries via phone, email, social media, and in person.

7. Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.

8. Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets.

9. Stay up to date on travel industry trends, promotions, and supplier offerings.

10. Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in travel sales, travel consulting, customer service, or a related field preferred.

2. Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.

3. Knowledge of domestic and international travel products and destinations.

4. Experience using travel booking systems and CRM software is an advantage.

5. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

8. High school diploma or equivalent; relevant travel or tourism qualifications are a plus.
