Role Overview

We are looking for committed and performance-driven Territory Officers (TOs) to join our field sales team. This role is designed for professionals who understand the dynamics of FMCG field sales and distribution, and who are eager to make their mark in a growing, mission-led organization. TOs will work under the guidance of Area Sales Managers and play a key role in market expansion, team supervision, and channel development.

Key Responsibilities

Territory & Sales Execution

  • Achieve monthly sales targets and KPIs for the assigned territory (volume, value, outlet coverage).

  • Ensure product presence across retail, wholesale, tea stalls, super shops, and other food-selling channels.

  • Identify new business opportunities to expand market presence.

Channel & Distribution Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with distributors, key retailers, and wholesale partners.

  • Monitor distributor performance, manage stock levels, and ensure timely order execution and payment collection.

  • Resolve channel conflicts and operational challenges independently when required.

Team Supervision & Motivation

  • Guide, train, and support a team of Sales Officers (SOs) to achieve their individual and team goals.

  • Create a performance-driven culture that encourages healthy competition and results orientation.

  • Identify and address development needs of the team in collaboration with line managers.

Market Insights & Reporting

  • Track competitor activity, pricing, and promotional trends, and share actionable insights.

  • Prepare daily sales reports, route plans, and market visit summaries for leadership review.

  • Support localized trade marketing activities and brand initiatives.

Compliance & Operational Readiness

  • Ensure adherence to company SOPs, sales policies, and ethical standards.

  • Handle territory operations with autonomy and decision-making capacity in the absence of direct supervision.

  • Maintain professional conduct and discipline while representing the company in the field.
