Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Install, maintain, and repair hydraulic systems, pumps, valves, cylinders, and pipelines in the block and rolling mill to ensure smooth operations.
∎ Troubleshoot and diagnose hydraulic system failures, leaks, and malfunctions, performing timely corrective actions to minimize downtime.
∎ Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of hydraulic equipment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
∎ Monitor hydraulic pressure, flow, and temperature levels, adjusting systems as needed to maintain optimal performance in rolling and block mill processes.
∎ Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize hydraulic systems for efficiency and reliability in steel rolling operations.
∎ Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, spare parts inventory, and equipment performance for reporting and future reference.
